MORE THAN A DEAL

PHOTOS BY JAKE PRIGOFF.  EXTRAS HERE.

we all know i’ve been obsessing over camo since mid 2012 [ie, 1,

2, 3, & 4].  well, my commitment to camo & being thrifty has left

you all with a heart-warming success story:

after wandering the streets of brooklyn pre-art supply run, i

miraculously found this perfect, god’s gift to the earth,

unbelievable camo jacket for… wait for it… eight dollars

[yes that’s $8].  this instantly led me to develop an emotional

attachment to a garment of clothing.  additionally, i felt [and

still feel] like my two-year-old self who refused to take off

this denim dress for weeks on end [i’ve been wearing this jacket

on the regs, and it doesn’t look like that’s going to be changing

anytime soon].

basically, thrifting has become more than a deal, people; it’s an

emotional experience that induces extreme nostalgia and arguably

even more shopping satisfaction.

oh and they all lived happily ever after.

the end.
